Yuri in a Hurry
Many people were physically injured at the site of the explosions, but even more must have been wounded in other ways. Something that should have been pure has been sullied, and I, too—as a citizen of the world, who calls himself a runner—have been wounded.

The day after the Marathon :-)
After yesterday’s BMO Vancouver Half Marathon, I fear this is going to be me at this evening’s runner’s yoga class!
Overall a pretty good race. Although I missed my goal of 2 hours by 1:07, I’m happy. It was a PB by over 8 minutes and sets me up well to break 2 hours at the Scotiabank Half at the end of June!
The hills and the crowd were a bit of a factor. There was more up hill than I was expecting and the pack didn’t really spread out much, so it was like a really long Sun Run.
Overall, I’m really happy with my time; it’s confirmation that my training is on the right track.
